Where to stay

Where to stay for Blackpool Pride weekend

Pride is the busiest weekend of the LGBTQ+ year in Blackpool; pick a stay near the parade and street party, and book early.

Blackpool Pride fills the town, and the guest houses go first. If you want a hotel near the action, decide on your base early. Below are the stays closest to the Lord Street street party and the walk to the Promenade parade.

When is Blackpool Pride?

The 20th anniversary Pride ran from 5 to 7 June 2026, with the parade on Saturday 6 June at 11am along the Promenade between Burlington Road West and Springfield Road. It also included a free two-day Rainbow Quarter street party along Lord Street, run by more than 20 local businesses. Dates for Pride 2027 have not been announced; check our Pride page and the official Blackpool Pride site for updates. Our seasonal notes describe Pride as usually early June.

Which stays are best for Pride?

How early should I book?

Rooms sell out early for Pride, often with three-night minimums according to our season notes. Book as soon as dates are released, and keep a flexible-cancellation option if the property offers it.

How do I get to the parade from my hotel?

The parade runs along the Promenade, a longer walk than the quarter itself: the North Pier is 6 to 10 minutes from most stays and the Tower 11 to 17. Trams run to Blackpool North from the Promenade; check our travel guide and Blackpool Transport for event-day arrangements.

What about the weekend nightlife?

Can I bring a group?

Some guest houses do not take group bookings; see group planning. The Rainbow Quarter reference site has more on past Prides.

Planning your Pride days

Pride weekend runs on three fronts: the festival at the Tower Festival Headland, the Saturday parade along the Promenade and the Rainbow Quarter street party on Lord Street. Stay near the quarter and you can slip from one to the other. Headliners at the 2026 festival included Heather Small, 911 and the Cheeky Girls, and the festival was ticketed.

Pick your base by priority

Remember that Pride 2027 dates are not in our data. Keep an eye on our Pride page, which we update when dates are announced.

Policies, prices and facilities can change, so confirm details with the property before you book.
