How do you choose a bar from your hotel?

Start with where you are sleeping, then work outwards. Blackpool's LGBTQ+ bars are packed into a few streets near Blackpool North station, so almost every stay on our list is within a ten-minute stroll of something good. The question is not whether there is a bar nearby, but which one suits the night you want.

Below is a quick map by mood, followed by walking times from each stay to four of the biggest names. Use our stays pages to pick a base first, or come here if you have already booked.

Are there men-only options?

Yes. Trades is a men-only hotel with a members' bar, and Growlr Club above Man Bar is men only. Two men's saunas are also listed, Acqua Sauna and W3 Complex, both 18+. Each card has its stated policy and opening notes.

When do the bars open?

Most open from lunchtime and keep going to 2am or 3am at weekends, but hours vary and some bars publish none. Our open tonight page explains how to read the listed hours, and what's on lists shows and regular nights. If you are travelling for a big weekend, see our Pride page, and read the safety tips before heading out.
