Blackpool.gay exists to help LGBTQ+ visitors pick a good base and plan a great trip. We start with where you will sleep, then look at what is happening nearby.
Who runs this site?
It is an independent project, not affiliated with any hotel, bar or venue. We are not paid to rank places, and we say plainly when something is unconfirmed.
How do we check our facts?
- Names, addresses and walking times come from the owner's own records and coordinates.
- Other details come from published sources such as council pages, local news and venue websites.
- Where a detail cannot be verified, we leave it out or say so.
- Hours and prices change, so we ask you to confirm them with the venue.
Found a mistake?
Email hello@blackpool.gay and we will check and correct it. Hotel and venue owners are welcome to get in touch with updates.
Why stay-first?
Most guides begin with the bars. We think a good trip begins with a good room, because it decides how far you walk, how late you stay out and how comfortable your weekend feels. Nightlife is a close second, and we cover it as "what is near your hotel".
What we are not
We are not a booking agent, and we cannot guarantee that a hotel will meet your needs. Always read the hotel's own details and contact it directly before booking. We do not make up reviews, ratings or prices, and we do not display accreditations unless they are confirmed.
