Which is the best arrival stay?

For a first-time visitor, Pride Lodge is hard to beat on distance: one minute from the station, with listed reception hours of 10am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 5pm Sunday. If you arrive later, they list WhatsApp out of hours. The Blackpool North is a handy first stop with a public bar open from midday.

What can I drop into right away?

What if I am arriving by car instead?

You do not need a station-side stay. Pride Lodge sells parking passes at reception that you must buy before parking; Westfield House offers discounted parking vouchers; Lawrence House has no on-site parking. Read our getting there and getting home guide for all options.

Are the walks step-free?

We have no step-by-step accessibility data for the routes, and several of the stays have stairs. Check the individual stay page, and see our Queen Street stays for the next ring out.

Travelling light or with luggage

If you have a case, the stays within three minutes are your friends: Pride Lodge, Rendezvous, Q Accommodation, Mardi Gras, Trades, Welhorny's and The Blackpool North. The rest are still only a few minutes further. Check-in times differ, and Lawrence House lists check-in from 2pm to 10pm; ask about left-luggage if you arrive early.

Trains and trams

Trains and trams both arrive at Blackpool North, and the tram stop is by the station. We do not list timetables, so use National Rail and Blackpool Transport for times, and read getting there and getting home.

Leaving

Allow extra time on departure day, particularly after a big night, and book a taxi in advance if you have an early train. Taxis wait at the station.

Which station stay is best for what?

Remember that stays differ on lifts and steps. Q Accommodation has two steps to the entrance and no lift, and Pride Lodge and Trades list no lift information in our data, so phone ahead.

Policies, prices and facilities can change, so confirm details with the property before you book.
